"Teresa and I truly appreciate it that you value our business and provide us with opportunities to acquire unique and interesting wines. Obviously there are limits to what makes sense for us to acquire in terms of cellar space, shelf life, and cost. But without the opportunity to make those decisions, our cellar would be empty and sad. We're very fortunate to have access to these wines from a reputable local retailer we know and trust, and even better that four of us enjoy time together.

I occasionally discuss wine with others who might buy online, hunt down bottles here and there, and are buying wine from people they never knew or have even met face to face. I'm absolutely convinced, beyond any doubt, that they would all be better served if the took the time to develop one real relationship, and cultivated that. The customer is rewarded with cusomized service and the proprietor has a clear sense of their customer base.
